Searching two Chinese databases for relevant RCTs. Screening papers. Data extraction and/or translation will depend on findings
We are conducting a review on congenital muscular torticollis in the 0 - 5 year old age range without language restrictions. We are looking for up to two individuals who have access to CNKI and VIP databases to search the databases for relevant Chinese-language only RCTs, and screen for inclusion. Depending on findings, data extraction or translation of relevant sections may be required. The Task Exchange "reward" will be acknowledgement, and may be higher, depending on papers found.
Up to two individuals with both access to and experience in searching two Chinese language databases - VIP and CNKI. Individuals will be able to collaborate with the review's lead author, adapt the English-language search strategy into Chinese, and search for and screen papers in order to locate relevant RCTs. Should RCTs be found that exist only in Chinese without English translation, the ideal applicants will have experience in extracting data, and may be asked to translate specific sections into English. The applicants may be located anywhere in the world, and the task is expected to be conducted sometime during December 2017 through to end March 2018.
