This statement applies to the TaskExchange website (the 'platform') and includes the collection, use, security of and access to information that may be obtained through it. The platform is maintained by Monash University on behalf of The Cochrane Collaboration (“we” or “us”).

Personal information is collected automatically by the platform from Archie, the Cochrane Collaboration's central server for managing documents and contacts details ( This information is only made available to other users if you agree. All users must have an Archie login to access this information. Any other personal information collected and/or stored will be voluntarily provided by you.

You will be asked to provide personal information when you create an account; or submit or upload content.

You may also provide personal information in order to communicate with us. If you choose not to provide personal information, certain service features may not be available to you.


The collection, use and any disclosure of personal information by us for the purpose of the platform is subject to and in accordance with applicable Australian (State and Commonwealth) privacy legislation.

We will only use your personal information for the purposes for which you gave it to us.

We use web analytic services that include cookies and JavaScript code to collect non personal information about usage of the platform. We analyse this data to improve our services.
