Cochrane Austria - International Mobility Programme

Skills / interests: Risk of Bias assessment, Data extraction, Screening and selecting studies, Prioritisation of review topics, Searching for evidence

We participate in the Cochrane International Mobility Programme and are happy to host one person for 4-8 weeks at Cochrane Austria. The focus of exchange would be on participating in the production of systematic reviews on diverse topics (e.g., mental health, internal medicine) and/or rapid reviews methods research. During the stay people could also participate in ongoing trainings (e.g., workshops, methods webinars) Financial support: We cannot provide any funding, but a desk and laptop for the stay. Practical support: We are happy to help finding an accommodation for the stay, however we cannot reimburse the costs. Training support: We would integrate the person into ongoing projects giving the possibility to get hands on experience with different steps of systematic reviews and meta-analyses. Deadline for application: ongoing Duration: minimum of 4 weeks, maximum of 8 weeks Cochrane Austria is situated at the Danube-University Krems, which is 1 hour by train from Vienna, Austria. Ideal applicant

The ideal applicant has high interest in evidence-based medicine and a medical or health science background (at least a bachelor’s degree) Good English are necessary. We are looking for 1 exchange (student, researcher) for the upcoming period (Nov 2019 - June 2020).
