Cochrane Croatia is excited to once again participate in Cochrane International Mobility programme. We are situated at the University of Split, School of Medicine and are willing to host one person for min. 2 weeks in Spring or Autumn of 2020.

The focus of exchange will be on evidence synthesis, meta-research, training in EBM, building capacities in developing searching strategies and executing searches, statistical and methodological training, knowledge translation activities, research integrity and consumer involvement.

Outputs: Systematic reviews, methodological studies; workshops and journal clubs with students; training at Cochrane Croatia active future involvement in Cochrane; building research networks
Evaluation: Completion of projects; participants’ feedback through survey, involvement in Cochrane Training and Cochrane Community platforms

Associated clinical opportunities: There is a possibility of clinical observation at the University Hospital in Split in addition to research training, but only with previous agreement with the hospital management

Financial support: Not available; Medical School infrastructure at disposal
Practical support: There is a possibility of arranging free accommodation for a shorter duration (e.g. 2 weeks) at the Medical School. Extended accommodation will require approval by the Medical School authorities, or be funded externally
Training support: Face-to-face support; free participation in workshops or courses organised by our Centre during the stay

Ideal Applicant

The ideal applicant has high interest in EMB and has at least basic knowledge of EBM.
Good knowledge of English is required.
