Consumer reviewer for Cochrane Review

Skills / interests: Consumer (public, patient, carer) input

A Cochrane review managed by the Effective Care and Organisation of Care (EPOC) group is now ready for peer review.

It is titled 'Professional, structural and organisational interventions in primary care for reducing medication errors'. You are not expected to have background knowledge on the topic or experience with Cochrane systematic reviews, though it would be helpful if you have an interest in the topic. We want consumer feedback on the content of the review, not the technicalities, so we prefer someone who is not a researcher in this area. This Cochrane Review is an update of a review previously published in 2017. It is 166 pages in length though the bulk of the text requiring your input is approximately 25 pages (with the rest being tables, figures, references, etc.)

We would require you to review and provide feedback (using provided checklist with guidance) within four weeks of us sending you the review. Your contribution as a peer reviewer will be acknowledged when the review is published.

Ideal applicant

You can work on this from your computer in your own time and we hope to receive your feedback within 4 weeks of sending out the review. No previous experience required.
