Macrolides for chronic asthma
Macrolides (e.g. clarithromycin, azithromycin, roxithromycin and troleandomycin) represent a relatively inexpensive intervention that may improve control of inflammation and clinical outcomes in patients with chronic asthma.
To assess the effects of macrolides compared with placebo for managing chronic asthma.
We are looking for a volunteer with a diagnosis of asthma or someone who cares for a child or adult with asthma.
