Seeking consumer comments on vestibular migraine

Skills / interests: Consumer (public, patient, carer) input

We are hoping to find someone with an interest in vestibular migraine to read and comment on three protocols for reviews we will be doing on the prevention and treatment of this condition. Vestibular migraine is a form of migraine in which a main symptom is recurrent attacks of vertigo. These episodes of vertigo are associated with other classical migraine features, such as headache or sensitivity to light or sound. Vestibular migraine may have a considerable impact on the individual. The unpredictable, disabling attacks of spinning sensory disorientation can be distressing and debilitating. This can have a large impact on engagement with day-to-day activities and overall quality of life.

Although there are three protocols to look they are largely identical (with a few differences that we would highlight) and we provide a consumer checklist/form for comments.

Ideal applicant

We are looking for a lay person with experience of, or interest in, vestibular migraine.
