Consumer feedback needed on a review considering how to prevent and treat anemia in cancer patients

Skills / interests: Consumer (public, patient, carer) input

Anemia is common among cancer patients and they may require red blood cell transfusions. This systematic review considers how best to prevent and treat anemia in cancer patients: Intravenous iron versus oral iron versus no iron with or without erythropoiesis- stimulating agents (ESA) for cancer patients with anaemia: A systematic review and network meta-analysis.

If you or a loved one has experience as a cancer patient, we would love your input on this review. While the statistical methods are complex in the way the review considers many different studies, input from a consumer review will be integral to ensure the summary sections of the review are relevant and accessible to those with cancer and those who care from them.

While you are welcome to provide feedback on any aspect of the review, you can focus your attention on the summary sections. Our aim is for this to be a manageable task, that does not overburden consumer reviewers.

Thank you in advance for considering!
