Can you help? Consumer input for a review on the impact of monitoring children under 5s in low- and middle-income countries

Skills / interests: Consumer (public, patient, carer) input

I am looking for a consumer to provide feedback on a Cochrane review, which aims to explore evidence on child growth monitoring and promotion

(GMP) in identifying and addressing faltering growth, improving infant and child feeding practices, and promoting contact and use of health services in children under 5 years of age in low‐ and middle‐income countries.

The protocol was published in 2021: https://www.cochranelibrary.com/cdsr/doi/10.1002/14651858.CD014785/full

For a list of low- and middle-income countries, please see The World Bank web page: https://datahelpdesk.worldbank.org/knowledgebase/articles/906519-world-bank-country-and-lending-groups

Cochrane considers a consumer, in this case, to be a parent or carer of children under 5 years of age, ideally based in a low- or middle-income country. For consumer peer review, we will ask you to complete a short form with your feedback to ensure the review is accessible and relevant so that it will be helpful to patients and their carers/families with healthcare decision-making.

You are welcome to provide feedback on any aspect of the review, or you can focus your attention on the sections you feel are most relevant to consumers and stakeholders, such as Abstract, Plain Language Summary, and Conclusions. Our aim is for this to be a manageable task, that does not overburden consumer reviewers.

Thank you in advance for considering!
