Skills / interests: Consumer (public, patient, carer) input

A Cochrane Review managed by the Effective Care and Organisation of Care (EPOC) group is almost ready for peer review. It is titled 'Interventions for the uptake of evidence-based recommendations in acute stroke settings'. You are not expected to have background knowledge on the topic or experience with Cochrane systematic reviews, though it would be helpful if you have some interest in the topic. We require consumer feedback on the content of the review and not the technicalities or methods, so we prefer someone who is not a researcher in this area. This review is 120 pages but the majority are tables, figures and references. The main content you will need to read and provide feedback on is ~30 pages. We would require you to review and provide feedback within two weeks of us sending you the draft review. Your contribution as a peer reviewer will be acknowledged when the review is published. Peer review is conducted on Editorial Manager.
