Consumer peer review of a Cochrane protocol on a mosquito vector control

Skills / interests: Consumer (public, patient, carer) input

This is a Cochrane protocol for a review on an intervention for preventing dengue, namely deploying of Aedes mosquitoes that are carrying a specific bacteria (wMel Wolbachia). Wolbachia is a genus of intracellular bacteria that is found in many insect species. The bacterium is associated with manipulation of traits or characteristics (i.e. phenotypic manipulation) in its host insect species.

I am looking for input from a consumer peer reviewer to help ensure the language is accessible, and concepts make sense to a lay reader.

For consumer peer review, we will ask you to complete a short form with your feedback. You are welcome to provide feedback on any aspect of the protocol.

Think you've got what it takes to get the job done for Deirdre?
