Have you or a loved one had difficulty in swallowing following a stroke?

Skills / interests: Consumer (public, patient, carer) input

We are seeking consumer input on a review looking at different therapies to improve swallowing after a stroke.

People who have had a stroke sometimes have difficulty swallowing. Therapy to improve swallowing aims to speed up recovery of swallowing function. If you or a loved one has experience of this, we would love your input on this review.

Cochrane considers a consumer to be a person with experience of the condition (in this case, stroke), either as a patient or as a carer/family member of a patient. From a consumer perspective, we are interested if the language of the review, especially the language used in the Plain Language Summary, is accessible and if it feels relevant for those recovering from a stroke, such that it will be helpful to patients and carers with healthcare decision making.

Thank you in advance for considering!
