Patient decision aids review - help with reviewing video in Korean to determine if study is eligible

Skills / interests: Translation (linguistic)

We are updating the Cochrane Review of Patient Decision Aids last published in 2017. Patient decision aids are tools that help people become involved in decision making by making explicit the decision needs to be made, providing information about the options and outcomes, and clarifying personal values (https://decisionaid.ohri.ca).

We need help reviewing a video in Korean, used in a study for patients with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome:https://bmcmusculoskeletdisord.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12891-017-1478-4#Sec11

We need to know if the following criteria are met in the video:

1. Do they make explicit the decision to be made?

2. Do they provide information on the available treatment options for the condition?

3. Do they provide information on the benefits (or pros) of each option?

4. Do they provide information on the harms (or cons) of each option?

5. Do they provide methods for patients to clarify their values? (e.g. different options have different benefits and harms and patients need to consider what features of each option is most important to them).

If the video meets the above minimum criteria for being considered a Patient Decision Aid then we will be able to include this study in our systematic review.

We estimate this task will take 15-20 minutes.
